What is a ceilidh dance and why have one?
* Ceilidh dancing is ideal for all sorts of social occasions
* It gets everyone mixing together, even if they’ve never done this sort of dancing
before and don’t know each other
* It's fun for all ages - small children to grannies and grandpas
* We provide an experienced dance caller, to ensure that everyone gets involved
and has a good time.
Public ceilidhs - entertainment licence
You no longer need a licence to hold a ceilidh (hoorah!) The Live Music Act 2012
extends exemptions to include, "live music that is integral to a performance of Morris
dancing or dancing of a similar type”.
