Wedding Ceilidhs

Not only is a ceilidh dance great fun at a wedding, it’s probably the best way of mixing the bride and groom's families and friends together, regardless of age.

Our expert dance-caller will encourage the guests onto the floor, add a bit of humour, and clearly talk everyone through the dances throughout the evening, allowing all to participate.

“I had trouble getting them off the dance floor!"

Reception Music

Live music from our folk ensemble can be a lovely way to welcome your guests to the venue, creating a relaxed atmosphere during canopes.

Evening arrangements

Dancing usually follows the meal and speeches.
Typically allow an hour for the speeches and time for the meal to go down before the dancing.

Bear in mind that we need an hour to set up and sound-check.
Unless we are setting up before people arrive, please ensure access to the stage - we're used to setting up quickly and quietly in the background.
A raised stage area of around 2.5 x 4 metres is ideal, though not essential.

With our combination of professionalism, musicianship and experience, the bride and groom can relax and enjoy their evening, relying on us to make their wedding ceilidh a success.
